Bethany will find out at the Christmas party that Larry and Antwan already had a fight because of Sharra.
Dec 25,2025
The Christmas party was already buzzing with laughter, music, and clinking glasses when Dutchess walked in—with Antwan by her side 🎄✨. The room didn’t go silent, but something definitely shifted.
Bethany noticed immediately.
She didn’t say a word, but her eyes followed them the moment they stepped inside. Bethany was good at pretending she didn’t care—but this time, she cared a little too much 👀.
Across the room, Larry stiffened.
Every few minutes, Larry glanced toward Antwan, his jaw tightening each time. His looks weren’t casual. They were sharp. Angry. Personal.
Bethany caught it.
Why does Larry keep staring at him like that? she wondered. This isn’t normal.
Bethany leaned closer to Larry and whispered,
“Do you know him?”
Larry forced a smile and replied quickly,
“No. Just… someone I’ve seen before.”
That answer didn’t sit right with her.
Bethany’s instincts kicked in. When Larry tried to avoid eye contact, she knew something was wrong. She watched as Antwan laughed loudly, talking slick, moving confidently through the room like he belonged there 😒.
Bethany decided to find out the truth herself.
She walked straight over to Dutchess, holding her drink steady, her tone calm but calculated.
“Hey Dutchess,” Bethany said casually. “Can I ask you something?”
Dutchess smiled.
“Sure, what’s up?”
Bethany glanced briefly at Antwan before asking,
“Has Larry ever met Antwan before… like, before tonight?”
Dutchess hesitated.
Just for a second—but it was enough.
Then she sighed and said,
“Yeah… actually, they have.”
Bethany’s heart dropped.
“When?” Bethany asked, her voice tightening.
Dutchess leaned in closer and lowered her voice.
“It’s messy. Antwan had an issue with Sharra.”
Bethany’s eyes widened.
“What kind of issue?”
Dutchess took a breath.
“Antwan was looking at Sharra in a way he shouldn’t have. Real disrespectful.”
Bethany froze.
Dutchess continued,
“Larry saw it. Words were exchanged. Then it turned physical. Larry hit him.”
The music kept playing. People kept laughing. But Bethany heard nothing but her own thoughts pounding in her head 😳.
Over Sharra? His ex-wife?
Bethany felt the heat rush through her chest. Her hands clenched around her glass.
“So you’re telling me,” Bethany said slowly, “my husband fought this man because of his ex-wife?”
Dutchess nodded.
“That’s what happened.”
That was it.
Bethany lost control.
She turned sharply and marched across the room, heels clicking, energy electric ⚡. Larry saw her coming and immediately knew—this was about to go bad.
“Bethany, wait—” Larry started.
Too late.
Bethany raised her voice so everyone could hear.
“So THIS is what we’re doing?”
The room quieted.
Larry whispered,
“Not here. Please.”
Bethany laughed—sharp and bitter.
“Oh no. We’re doing this RIGHT HERE.”
She pointed toward Antwan.
“You fought him… over SHARRA?”
Gasps rippled through the crowd.
Larry tried to explain.
“Bethany, it wasn’t like that—”
She cut him off.
“You embarrassed me! You stood up for your EX-wife and dragged all of this into my Christmas party!”
People stared. Phones subtly lifted 📱.
“Do you know how stupid that makes me look?” Bethany continued.
“You couldn’t even protect our peace, but you were ready to throw hands for HER?”
Larry’s face flushed.
“I was protecting respect.”
Bethany scoffed.
“No—you were protecting feelings that should’ve been dead a long time ago.”
The tension was thick. The Christmas lights felt too bright. The music stopped completely.
Bethany shook her head and said loudly,
“Congratulations, Larry. You just ruined Christmas.”
She dropped her napkin on the table and walked away, leaving behind stunned guests, a humiliated Larry, and a Christmas party officially destroyed 🎄💥.
