“Lynette will stop Bethany from going to Montana and will tell her, ‘You can’t go there.’”

Bethany finally gathers the courage to tell Larry what has been on her mind. One evening, while trying to sound calm but clearly excited, she says,

🗣️ “Larry, I’m going with you to Montana for the birth of your grandson.”

Larry freezes for a moment. His expression changes—not anger, not happiness, but confusion. He doesn’t respond right away. Instead, later that night, he calls Lynette.

📞 Larry: “Lynette, Bethany is saying she wants to come with me to Montana for the baby’s birth.”

📞 Lynette: long pause “She said what?”

You can almost feel the tension through the phone. Lynette’s tone turns serious, protective, and firm.

📞 Lynette: “Larry, no. That’s not happening. I will talk to Bethany myself.”

Larry knows better than to argue. He’s caught between keeping the peace and avoiding a full-blown disaster. He sighs heavily and replies,

📞 Larry: “Okay… talk to her.”

The next morning, Bethany wakes up confident, thinking her plan is already set in stone. She gets dressed, acting as if nothing could go wrong. But destiny has other plans.

That morning, Bethany unexpectedly comes face-to-face with Lynette. The air immediately shifts. ❄️

No smiles. No greetings. Just tension.

Lynette looks Bethany straight in the eyes and doesn’t waste a second.

😠 Lynette: “You really never stop, do you?”

Bethany blinks, caught off guard.

😒 Bethany: “Excuse me?”

Lynette steps closer, her voice calm but sharp like a blade.

🗣️ Lynette: “You are a problem creator. You always are. Everywhere you go, there’s drama. Every situation, you have some kind of scheme or move.”

Bethany crosses her arms defensively.

😤 Bethany: “That’s not true. I’m just supporting Larry.”

Lynette lets out a short, humorless laugh.

😏 Lynette: “Supporting Larry? Or creating another mess?”

Bethany’s face tightens.

😠 Bethany: “I have every right to go to Montana.”

Lynette immediately shuts that down.

🚫 Lynette: “No, you don’t. And let me make this very clear—you are NOT going anywhere.”

Bethany’s eyes widen in shock.

😳 Bethany: “You can’t tell me where I can or can’t go!”

Lynette doesn’t raise her voice, but her words hit harder than shouting ever could.

🗣️ Lynette: “I absolutely can when it comes to my grandchild.”

There’s silence. Heavy, uncomfortable silence.

Then Lynette continues, slowly and deliberately.

🧠 Lynette: “I will not allow you to go to Montana because I don’t want you creating problems at my grandson’s birth. That moment is sacred. It’s not about you. It’s not about drama.”

Bethany scoffs.

🙄 Bethany: “You’re exaggerating.”

Lynette shakes her head.

❌ Lynette: “No, I’m protecting my family.”

Bethany tries one last time.

😤 Bethany: “Larry wants me there.”

Lynette turns slightly, pointing toward the door as if drawing a line in the sand.

🛑 Lynette: “Larry will come with me. Just Larry. You, and the other girls, will stay right here.”

Bethany’s jaw drops.

😡 Bethany: “So you’re just cutting me out?”

Lynette meets her stare without flinching.

🗣️ Lynette: “I’m setting boundaries. Something you’ve never respected.”

Bethany clenches her fists, clearly furious but powerless.

🔥 Bethany: “You’re doing this on purpose.”

Lynette nods once.

✔️ Lynette: “Yes. On purpose. For peace.”

At that moment, Bethany realizes the truth—this time, she has lost control of the situation. Montana is no longer an option. No arguing. No manipulation. No second chances.

As Lynette walks away, she adds one final sentence over her shoulder:

🗣️ “My grandson’s birth will be calm, joyful, and drama-free. And that means you’re not coming.”

Bethany stands there in silence, angry, humiliated, and defeated—knowing that for once, someone finally stood up to her and said no.

😮‍💨 End scene.
