When Bethany and Larry take Destiny to get her admitted to school, Destiny does not take the situation seriously at all. Instead of cooperating, she acts confused and defensive. When she meets the principal, she suddenly says:

Destiny: “I was kidnapped from Atlanta and brought here! I don’t belong in this school!” 😳

Her tone is dramatic, and her behavior shows that she is not ready to accept school as part of her life. Bethany and Larry feel embarrassed, but they also feel helpless because Destiny is not intentionally misbehaving—she is reacting out of fear, trauma, and confusion.

So he decides to call Sharra, someone Destiny deeply respects and fears at the same time. Sharra is known for her strict but caring personality. The principal believes Sharra might be able to guide Destiny better.

Principal: “Can you please come to the school? Destiny is confused, emotional, and not taking her admission seriously. She needs someone she trusts.”

When Sharra arrives, Destiny immediately freezes. Her heart starts racing because Sharra represents discipline, honesty, and responsibility. Destiny tries to avoid eye contact, but Sharra sits beside her calmly.

Sharra: “Destiny… look at me.”
Destiny: “I—I don’t want to study…”
Sharra: “You are safe here. No one kidnapped you. Bethany and Larry are trying to build a future for you. School is where your life will change—if you let it.” 🤍
