Greg meets with Sharra and Lynette and asks them to testify against Bethany. When Bethany learns about this, she is deeply hurt and takes it to heart. Overcome by the emotional shock, she suddenly starts feeling unwell and collapses. Larry rushes her to the hospital, where she is admitted to the ICU. After some time, she regains consciousness and starts to feel a bit better.

Larry and Brooke are both deeply worried and concerned upon seeing Bethany's condition.

Scene: Hospital Room – ICU

Larry stands next to the hospital bed, looking at Bethany as she slowly opens her eyes. Brooke is seated nearby, clearly upset.

Larry: (softly, concerned)
"Bethany… can you hear me? Are you feeling better?"
Bethany blinks, trying to adjust to the light. She nods slightly.

Bethany: (weakly)
"I… I’m okay… just a little dizzy…"

Brooke: (with a worried expression)
"You scared us, Beth. You really did. What happened? What’s going on? You’ve been through so much already…"
She reaches for Bethany's hand, squeezing it gently.

Bethany: (taking a deep breath, trying to hold back tears)
"I didn't expect… Greg to go this far. He’s asking Sharra and Lynette to testify against me… It’s all just too much to take in."

Larry sighs deeply, rubbing his temples in frustration.

Larry: (with a stern look, trying to keep his composure)
"Bethany, why didn’t you tell me about this sooner? You know you don’t have to handle everything on your own. I can’t believe Greg would do this to you…"

Bethany: (looking away, her voice trembling)
"I didn’t want to burden anyone, especially you. But now, I feel like I'm falling apart. I thought I could manage, but… it hurts too much."
Her voice cracks as she speaks.

Larry: (softening, pulling up a chair next to her bed)
"Bethany, you're not alone in this. I’m here for you, no matter what. And Brooke too. We’re a team, okay? But you need to talk to me about what's going on. Don’t shut me out."

Brooke: (gently rubbing Bethany's arm)
"Yeah, we’ve got your back, no matter what happens. But you need to take care of yourself, Beth. You can't let this overwhelm you."

Bethany: (closing her eyes briefly)
"I don’t know what to do anymore. I feel like I’m losing everything, and I don’t have control over any of it."

Larry: (after a pause, firmly)
"Bethany, listen to me… you do have control. It might not seem like it right now, but you have the strength to get through this. We’ll figure this out together. You just need to be honest with me. If there’s something bothering you, talk to me. Tell me what’s really going on."

Brooke: (nodding)
"And don't keep things inside. You’ve always been there for us. Now it's our turn to be there for you."

Bethany looks up at Larry and Brooke, a weak but grateful smile forming on her face.

Bethany: (slowly, her voice steadying)
"Thank you… both of you. I don't know what I’d do without you. I’ll try to be more open… it’s just so hard."

Larry: (smiling softly)
"It’s okay, Bethany. One step at a time, alright? And no matter what, we’re in this together."
