Brooke tells Larry, “You enjoy Sharra and Bethany’s fight because you just go back and forth sharing their secrets.”
Jan 26,2026
The living room was tense. Larry sat on the edge of the sofa, scrolling through his phone, trying to act casual, but Brooke could see right through him. She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, her eyes sharp as daggers. 😒🔥
“Larry,” she started, her voice calm but cutting, “we need to talk.”
Larry looked up, a half-smile on his face, trying to play it cool. “Talk about what?” he asked, though Brooke knew he wasn’t being honest.
“You know exactly what I’m talking about,” Brooke said, leaning against the wall. “You enjoy the fight between Sharra and Bethany.”
Larry laughed nervously. “I don’t… I mean, I’m just… observing,” he tried to explain, but Brooke wasn’t buying it.
Brooke shook her head slowly, her frustration barely contained. “Observing?” she repeated, her tone sharper now. “Larry, come on. You just keep going between the two of them, telling each other’s business. You love it when they argue, don’t you? Admit it.” 😳🔥
Larry shifted in his seat, scratching the back of his neck. “I… I mean… I just… it’s not like that,” he stammered.
Brooke stepped closer, her eyes locked on his. “Larry, stop lying to yourself. You think you’re neutral, but you’re the reason the fight keeps going. Every time you run from Sharra to Bethany, whispering one thing or another, you’re pouring fuel on the fire.”
He opened his mouth to respond, but Brooke cut him off. “No excuses. You’re playing with fire, and you think it’s fun. But it’s not. It’s toxic.” 😡🔥
Larry leaned back, sighing. “Okay… maybe I have been… a little involved. But they fight so much already. I’m just… trying to calm things down sometimes.”
Brooke raised an eyebrow. “Calm things down?” she asked incredulously. “Larry, telling Bethany that Sharra said this, and then running to Sharra to tell her what Bethany said… that’s not calming anything. That’s chaos. Pure chaos.”
Larry rubbed his forehead, looking guilty. “I… I didn’t think of it like that…”
Brooke softened slightly but didn’t let up. “Larry, listen. If you really care about both of them, you need to stop being the middleman. Stop enjoying the drama. Step back and let them work things out themselves. You’re making it worse.” 😔💥
He looked down at his hands, realizing she was right. “I… I guess I didn’t realize how much I was doing it,” he admitted quietly.
Brooke nodded. “Exactly. You have to understand, Larry, it’s not just a game. Their friendship is real, and your actions are affecting them more than you think. You can’t just sit back and watch, pretending to be neutral, while secretly enjoying their arguments.”
Larry sighed, finally looking up at her. “You’re right, Brooke. I’ve been… selfish. I didn’t mean to hurt anyone, but I can see now how it looks.”
Brooke smiled faintly, a mix of relief and exasperation on her face. “Good. Now, you need to make a choice. Are you going to keep running between them, or are you going to let them handle their own problems?”
Larry nodded firmly. “I… I want to change. I don’t want to be the cause of their fights anymore.”
Brooke’s expression softened even more. “That’s all I needed to hear, Larry. Just… stop stirring the pot. Stay out of it unless they ask for your help. And for God’s sake, don’t ever enjoy their arguments again. 😏🔥”
Larry laughed nervously. “I swear, I won’t. I promise.”
Brooke patted him on the shoulder, giving him a pointed look. “Good. Because if you go back to your old ways, you’ll have me to deal with, and trust me… you don’t want that.”
He chuckled, a little relieved. “Noted.”
Brooke turned and headed to the door, shaking her head. “Remember, Larry, being honest is hard, but being part of the problem is even harder. Don’t forget that.”
As she left, Larry sat back on the sofa, thinking deeply. The room was quiet now, but the weight of Brooke’s words lingered. He realized that sometimes, staying neutral isn’t enough—sometimes, you have to step back completely and let people handle their own drama. And maybe, just maybe, avoiding unnecessary chaos is the truest way to care about someone. 😌💡
Later that evening, Larry decided to send a message to both Sharra and Bethany, letting them know he wouldn’t be getting involved in their arguments anymore. The responses were surprisingly positive. They appreciated his honesty and respected his decision. For the first time, Larry felt a sense of relief and clarity.
He leaned back in his chair, smiling. “Maybe Brooke’s right,” he thought to himself. “Watching the drama isn’t fun—it’s exhausting. And sometimes, the best way to care about someone is to let them fight their own battles.”
Brooke’s words echoed in his mind: “Stop enjoying the drama, Larry. Step back, and let them live.”
And with that, Larry finally understood the truth. Sometimes, the middleman isn’t helping at all—he’s just making things worse. 🔥💯
