“Greg will come to Bethany’s house and say, ‘I have summoned you to court, and this time you will lose the case. I have two strong witnesses who will testify against you.’”
Jan 7,2026
Greg had been planning this moment for a long time. Sitting in his office, he picked up his phone and made two calls that would change everything. First, he summoned Sharra, and then Lynette, asking them to come meet him privately.
When Sharra and Lynette arrived, Greg wasted no time. He leaned forward, his voice calm but calculated.
Greg: “I need both of you to testify against Bethany in court.”
Sharra looked uneasy. She shifted in her seat, clearly uncomfortable with the request.
Sharra: “Testify against her? Greg… this is serious. Why are you involving us?”
Greg’s lips curved into a faint smile.
Greg: “Because this case must be won. And your testimony will make it strong—unbreakable.”
Lynette, however, reacted very differently. The moment she understood what Greg was asking, her face lit up with excitement 😌. Any hesitation she might have had vanished instantly.
Lynette: “Against Bethany?”
(she laughed softly)
“I’d be happy to do that. I’ll testify. No problem at all.”
Sharra glanced at Lynette in surprise.
Sharra: “Are you sure about this?”
Lynette: “Absolutely. If my words can help Greg win, then why not?”
Greg nodded, satisfied.
Greg: “Good. Then it’s settled. You both will appear as witnesses. With two strong testimonies, Bethany won’t stand a chance.”
After finalizing everything, Greg stood up, straightened his coat, and headed directly to Bethany’s house. His confidence was unmistakable.
Bethany opened the door, surprised to see him standing there.
Bethany: “Greg? What are you doing here?”
Greg walked inside without waiting for an invitation. He looked around briefly, then turned to face her.
Greg: “I’ve come to inform you of something important.”
Bethany crossed her arms, sensing tension in his tone.
Bethany: “What is it?”
Greg looked her straight in the eyes.
Greg: “I have summoned you to court.”
Bethany froze.
Bethany: “Court? For what?”
Greg’s voice hardened.
Greg: “This time, you’re going to lose the case.”
Bethany’s heart skipped a beat 😨.
Bethany: “What are you talking about? You can’t be serious.”
Greg took a step closer.
Greg: “I am very serious. This time, I have two strong witnesses.”
Bethany’s face went pale.
Bethany: “Witnesses?”
Greg: “Yes. Two solid witnesses who will testify against you.”
For a moment, Bethany couldn’t speak. The words echoed in her mind. Her confidence shattered, replaced by disbelief. She finally found her voice.
Bethany: “Who?”
(her voice trembling)
“Who are these two people that would testify against me?”
Greg remained silent, letting the tension grow. His silence was louder than any answer.
Bethany shook her head in shock 😧.
Bethany: “That’s impossible. There’s no one who would stand against me like that.”
Greg smirked slightly.
Greg: “You’ll find out soon enough—in court.”
Bethany took a deep breath, trying to steady herself.
Bethany: “You think this will scare me?”
Greg: “It should. Because this time, everything is different.”
He turned toward the door.
Greg: “Prepare yourself, Bethany. The truth will be spoken—whether you like it or not.”
With that, Greg left the house, leaving Bethany standing alone in silence. Her mind raced as fear and confusion took over. Who could those witnesses be? Why would anyone betray her?
She whispered to herself:
Bethany: “Two witnesses… who could they possibly be?”
The battle lines had been drawn ⚖️, and the courtroom awaited them all.
