Greg will record his conversation with Bethany and use it as a witness in the case.
Jan 15,2026
After her tense conversation with Sharra, Bethany stormed down the hallway, her mind buzzing with anger and betrayal. π‘ She clenched her fists, barely able to contain the fire inside her. Without a second thought, she marched straight toward Greg’s office, determined to confront him.
“Greg!” she snapped, throwing open the door. Her voice was sharp, like a whip. “I need to talk to you—now!” π₯
Greg looked up from his desk, startled but calm, as if he had been expecting her. “Bethany, take a seat. Let’s try to keep this civil,” he said cautiously, raising his hands.
Civil? Bethany scoffed. “Civil? Don’t make me laugh, Greg. Do you have any idea what just happened? I found out that you—yes, you—tried to manipulate Jessie into being a witness against me! π€ How dare you?!”
Greg’s eyes widened slightly. “Bethany, it’s not like that—”
“Not like that?!” she cut him off, voice rising. “You thought you could twist everything, control what people say, and make me look like the villain? You don’t get it, Greg. You really don’t!” π
Greg tried to speak again, but Bethany wasn’t letting him. “And while we’re at it,” she continued, pacing back and forth like a caged tiger, “let me remind you of some very interesting secrets I’ve discovered—secrets you probably didn’t think anyone would ever find out. Secrets that could ruin more than just your little plan.”
Her voice dropped to a dangerous whisper, and Greg instinctively leaned back in his chair. “Bethany… what are you talking about?”
Bethany’s eyes glinted. “Oh, Greg. You really have no idea. But let me be very clear: I know what you’ve been doing behind the scenes. And I know who’s been manipulated, and for what. π You think you’re clever, but clever doesn’t mean untouchable.”
Greg swallowed hard. He could see the storm in her eyes, and something told him that this conversation was about to go somewhere he hadn’t planned.
Bethany leaned in closer, her voice dripping with controlled fury. “I’ve been patient, Greg. I’ve let things slide. But now? Now I’m exposing it all. The lies. The half-truths. The attempts to turn people against me. You thought I wouldn’t find out about Jessie? You thought I wouldn’t confront you? Think again!” ⚡
Greg’s hands moved slightly toward his desk, nervous. “Bethany… let’s not—”
“Don’t tell me not to do something!” she snapped, pointing a finger at him. “You tried to manipulate evidence, manipulate testimonies, and manipulate me. But here’s the kicker: all your little schemes, all your secret plots—they’re not as secret as you think. And once I tell the truth, there’s no turning back.” π€
Greg’s eyes darted to his phone, hidden slightly on the desk. He had the faintest inkling of what she was capable of. Bethany, in her fury, didn’t notice him slowly reaching for it.
Bethany’s voice softened for a moment, almost dangerously calm. “I trusted some people, Greg. I believed in fairness. I believed in honesty. But now? Now I see how far some are willing to go to get what they want. And Jessie… poor Jessie. She didn’t deserve this. And neither did I.” π
Greg, heart pounding, pressed record on his phone discreetly, knowing this could be critical. Bethany, lost in her storm of anger and frustration, continued without realizing she was leaving a trail of her own words.
“You wanted to control the narrative, Greg, but the narrative controls you now. Every secret you thought was safe, every plan you thought was hidden—consider it exposed. I’m done playing games. Done being manipulated. And if anyone tries to use Jessie—or anyone else—against me, they’ll regret it. Every single one of them.” π‘
Greg’s thumb hovered over the record button, silently documenting every incriminating word. This was it—the testimony that could turn the tide.
Bethany’s voice cracked slightly, a mixture of anger and vulnerability. “And here’s the thing, Greg… I’m not afraid anymore. I’m done hiding. I’m done letting people walk over me, or twist things to their advantage. I know my rights. I know the truth. And when the time comes, I’ll make sure everyone knows exactly what’s been happening. No more lies. No more manipulation. No more secrets. ⚡
Greg finally broke his silence, trying to calm the storm. “Bethany… I hear you. I understand. But maybe we can talk about this without—”
But Bethany wasn’t done. “Talk? It’s too late for talking! You wanted a game, Greg. You wanted to play detective and judge. But here’s the truth: I know everything. And you—” she pointed at him sharply “—you will answer for your actions. And make no mistake: I will testify. I will reveal everything. And Jessie… she’ll be protected. πͺ
Greg lowered his hand from the phone, satisfied that he had captured everything. Bethany, still steaming, finally paused, taking a deep breath. She didn’t realize that this conversation, this raw, unfiltered torrent of anger and revelation, was exactly what would make her case stronger.
And as she stormed out of the room, Greg quietly whispered to himself, “This will be the key testimony… she just made herself a witness.” π±✅
In the courtroom later, Greg’s recording would speak volumes. Every secret revealed, every threat and confession Bethany had made in her fury, would be used as undeniable evidence. The words she had unleashed in anger had created an unforeseen weapon—a weapon that could determine the outcome of the case.
Bethany, unaware of the recording, had done more than just vent her frustration—she had handed the court a full, unfiltered story of deception, manipulation, and truth. And Greg, with careful attention, had ensured that justice had the evidence it needed to prevail. ⚖️
