“You mean the furniture?”

Joel looked at her thoughtfully.

“Well, furnishing a home can be overwhelming. But once it’s done, it really becomes your place.”

Sharra smiled.

“Exactly. I want it to feel warm… like home.”

As they continued walking through the rooms, Sharra casually mentioned a few ideas—sofas near the windows, a dining table in the corner, soft lighting in the bedrooms.

Joel listened carefully, nodding along.

Then, without much hesitation, he stopped and looked directly at her.

“Sharra,” he said confidently, “I’ll take care of it.”

She blinked in surprise.

“Take care of what?”

“The furniture,” Joel replied calmly. “I’ll buy it for you. All of it.”

Sharra froze.

“Joel… what are you saying?”

“I’m saying,” he continued, “I’ll get furniture for the entire house. I’ll make sure it’s fully furnished—every room.”

Joel smiled reassuringly.

“It’s not a burden. I want to do this for you.”

Sharra tried to protest, but Joel raised his hand gently.
