“When Bethany finds out about Larry and Kay, she will say: ‘Either remove Sharra from this house, or I will leave.’”

When Bethany finally discovers that Larry secretly co-signed the house for Sharra, the truth hits her like a storm she never saw coming. ⚡ Her hands begin to shake—not with fear, but with rage. The air in the room turns heavy, as if even the walls are holding their breath.

She stands there for a moment, staring at Larry, her eyes burning with disbelief.

“Say it again,” Bethany says quietly, her voice low and controlled. “Tell me I heard you wrong.”

Larry swallows hard. His shoulders tense. “Bethany… I didn’t want you to find out like this.”

Her lips curl into a bitter smile. “Find out like what? Like a fool? Like your wife doesn’t deserve the truth?”

She takes a step closer, her heels clicking sharply against the floor. Each step feels like a warning. 🚶‍♀️

“You co-signed a house for Sharra,” she continues, her voice rising now. “You made a financial and emotional decision behind my back. And you thought I wouldn’t notice?”

Larry opens his mouth to explain, but Bethany cuts him off.

“I am your wife, Larry,” she snaps. “Not your roommate. Not your assistant. Your wife. And you hid this from me.”

Her eyes fill with fire, not tears. She is too angry to cry.

“You should have told me,” she says, each word sharp as glass. “You owe me honesty.”

Larry rubs his forehead, clearly stressed. “I was trying to protect you from worry. Sharra was in trouble. She needed help.”

Bethany laughs, but there’s no humor in it. “Oh, so now you’re her hero?” she says bitterly. “And what am I, Larry? The woman you lie to?”

The room feels smaller. Tighter. Like it’s closing in on them both.

“You didn’t just help her,” Bethany says. “You put our future at risk. Our finances. Our stability. And you did it in secret.”

Larry looks away, guilt written all over his face.

Bethany steps even closer now, her voice trembling—not with weakness, but with power. 🔥

“Do you have any idea how humiliating this is for me?” she asks. “How stupid you’ve made me feel?”

She pauses. Then her tone changes. It becomes cold. Final.

“Either Sharra leaves that house… or I leave this one.”

The words hit Larry like a punch to the chest.

“What?” he says, stunned.

Bethany doesn’t blink. “You heard me.”

“You remove Sharra from that house,” she continues, “or I walk out of this marriage.”

Larry’s eyes widen. His heart begins to race. 💔

“Bethany, please,” he says, his voice shaking. “Don’t do this. Let’s talk calmly.”

“I am calm,” she replies. “I’ve never been clearer in my life.”

She folds her arms and stares straight into his eyes.

“You chose her over me when you made that decision,” she says. “Now it’s time to choose again.”

Larry feels the pressure crushing him. His chest tightens. His mind spins.

He never wanted this.

He never meant to hurt Bethany.

But now he’s trapped between two impossible choices.

Bethany watches him struggle, and for a brief second, something like sadness flickers across her face. Then it hardens again.

“You had no right to keep this from me,” she says. “You broke my trust.”

Larry takes a shaky breath. “I didn’t think it would turn into this.”

“Well, it did,” Bethany replies. “And now you have to deal with it.”

Silence fills the room. ⏳

Larry feels sweat on his palms. His thoughts crash into each other. If he forces Sharra out, he destroys her stability. If he doesn’t, he loses his wife.

“Bethany…” he begins, then stops. He has no answer.

She tilts her head slightly. “I’m waiting.”

He exhales slowly. “I need time,” he says. “I need to think.”

Bethany’s eyes narrow. “Think fast.”

Larry looks at her, his voice almost breaking. “I’ll think about it and tell you.”

Bethany turns away, walking toward the window. She doesn’t look back.

“Don’t take too long,” she says quietly. “Because my patience is already gone.”

The room falls into silence again—but this time, it’s the kind that screams. 😶‍🌫️

Larry stands there, trapped between loyalty and love, fear and responsibility, knowing that whatever choice he makes… something will be lost forever.
