When Bethany goes shopping with Destiny and sees Sharra there, she creates a scene.
Jan 6,2026
Destiny had always been conscious about her appearance, especially at school. Whenever the other girls laughed at her clothing, it would leave her feeling frustrated and upset. π One afternoon, after another uncomfortable day of teasing, Destiny walked into the house, visibly upset. She went straight to Larry, her voice quivering as she explained everything.
“Daddy… the girls at school… they laughed at me again π’. My outfit… it wasn’t good enough.” Destiny’s words were full of hurt and embarrassment.
Larry knelt beside her, his expression gentle but concerned. “Sweetheart, I understand. Sometimes people can be mean, but that doesn’t mean you’re not amazing π. Maybe we should do something about it—how about we go shopping for some new clothes?”
Destiny’s eyes lit up with hope. “Really, Daddy? You’d take me shopping?” She was already imagining herself in new outfits, free from the teasing.
Larry smiled. “Of course, princess. Brooke and I can come with you too. We’ll make it a fun day! ππ️”
Meanwhile, Bethany had been quietly listening from the other room. As Destiny explained her plan, Bethany’s mind started racing. She wanted to be part of the shopping trip—not just for fun, but for another reason entirely. She had heard about Sharra and knew exactly how much of a problem she could be if she joined. Bethany’s eyes narrowed. π
As Destiny continued, she added, “I really just want to change my outfits and feel better about myself. Can we go tomorrow, Daddy?”
Bethany could barely contain herself. She thought, I have to go too… just to make sure Sharra doesn’t sneak in. She spoke up before anyone could stop her.
“Hey! Don’t forget about me π♀️! I want to come too!” Bethany said, with a tone that was both cheerful and firm.
Destiny turned to her, slightly hesitant. “Bethany… I don’t really want you to come with us π . This is kind of my thing.”
Bethany’s expression didn’t waver. “Don’t worry, Destiny. I’m just coming to help manage the money π΅. I’m not going to boss anyone around—I promise!”
Destiny, though still hesitant, knew Bethany had a point. At least she wouldn’t be interfering with her choices… she hoped.
The next day, everyone got ready for the shopping trip. Destiny carefully picked out a comfortable outfit, while Brooke helped with accessories and Larry ensured everyone was ready on time. Bethany, true to her word, took on the role of managing the money. She counted the cash, organized the wallet, and made sure everyone stayed within budget. π°π
As they walked into the mall, the reactions were immediate. People noticed Destiny, and she couldn’t help but smile at her transformation. Brooke and Larry were thrilled to see her confidence growing. But Bethany? She was quietly proud of herself too. Not only was she helping, but she had successfully ensured Sharra wasn’t part of this outing. π
“Look at you, Destiny! You look amazing π,” Brooke exclaimed as they approached the first store.
“Thanks… I feel a lot better,” Destiny admitted, adjusting her new top. She finally felt like herself, unbothered by the teasing she faced at school.
Bethany, walking beside them, whispered to Destiny, “See? Everything’s fine. I made sure nobody ruined today. You just enjoy yourself π.”
Throughout the day, Bethany stayed focused. She didn’t pick clothes for anyone, but she made sure the trip ran smoothly. Whenever Destiny hesitated over an outfit, Bethany would offer gentle encouragement.
“Go ahead, Destiny. That color suits you perfectly πΈ,” she would say with a smile.
Even Larry and Brooke were impressed by how responsible Bethany was being. It wasn’t just a shopping trip anymore—it was an experience that brought everyone closer together. Destiny was no longer feeling embarrassed or self-conscious. She was enjoying herself, learning how to make choices, and discovering her own sense of style. ππ
As the day came to an end, Destiny looked around at everyone and realized how lucky she was. “Thank you, Daddy… and Brooke… and Bethany. Today was really special,” she said, smiling genuinely for the first time that week.
Bethany smiled back, feeling a sense of accomplishment. She had done exactly what she wanted—helped Destiny, managed the money, and ensured Sharra didn’t come to ruin their fun. π
Larry clapped his hands together. “Alright, team! Let’s head home. Destiny, I’m proud of you. You handled everything so well today.”
Destiny beamed, feeling confident and happy. Brooke hugged her, and even Bethany gave a little fist pump in celebration. They had successfully turned what could have been a stressful day into a fun, memorable experience for Destiny. ππ
As they left the mall, Bethany whispered one last time to Destiny: “See? Everything went perfectly, and Sharra didn’t even get a chance to mess it up π.”
Destiny laughed softly. “Thanks, Bethany… I guess having you there wasn’t so bad after all.”
And just like that, the shopping trip wasn’t just about clothes—it was about family, teamwork, and making sure everyone felt valued and confident. ✨π️π
