The soft golden lights of the city shimmered through the glass walls of Wayne’s office as evening slowly settled over the skyline. Inside the luxurious office, the atmosphere carried a mixture of ambition, tension, and something far more complicated.

Imani stood beside the long conference table, reviewing the final documents of the investment proposal. Her calm confidence filled the room. Wayne leaned against the edge of the table, watching her with quiet admiration.

“Everything looks perfect,” Wayne said with a faint smile. “If we move forward together, this business could grow beyond anything we imagined.”

Imani looked up, her eyes reflecting determination. “I don’t invest blindly, Wayne. But I believe in vision… and I believe in yours.”

There was a brief silence between them — not awkward, but warm. Over the past few weeks of planning meetings, strategy discussions, and late-night brainstorming sessions, they had grown unusually close. Their professional partnership had slowly begun to carry emotional undertones neither of them openly acknowledged.

Wayne finally extended his hand.

“So… partners?” 🤝

Imani smiled and shook his hand firmly.

“Partners.”

At that moment, neither of them realized that the news of their partnership was about to ignite a storm somewhere else in the city.

---

Across town, inside a lavish penthouse filled with expensive décor and dim lighting, Honeypot sat on a velvet sofa scrolling through messages on her phone.

Suddenly, her expression hardened.

“What…?” she whispered.

The message on her screen was clear.

Imani and Wayne finalize investment deal. Working together closely.

Her grip tightened around the phone.

A flash of anger burned in her eyes. 🔥

Without wasting another second, she stood up and began pacing across the room like a predator preparing to strike.

Shayla, who had been quietly sipping coffee nearby, noticed the change immediately.

“What happened?” she asked cautiously.

Honeypot turned toward her, fury practically radiating from her presence.

“That woman,” she hissed. “Imani.”

Shayla raised an eyebrow.

“What about her?”

Honeypot threw the phone onto the table.

“She’s investing in Wayne’s business. They’re working together now… spending time together… getting closer.”

The room fell silent.

Shayla slowly placed her cup down.

“And this bothers you… because?” she asked carefully.

Honeypot let out a bitter laugh.

“Because I know exactly how these things work. Business meetings turn into late-night strategy sessions… late-night sessions turn into trust… and trust turns into something far more dangerous.”

Her voice dropped to a cold whisper.

“I will not let her take what’s mine.”

Shayla crossed her arms thoughtfully.

“So what’s the plan?”

Honeypot’s eyes narrowed.

“That’s exactly what I was going to ask you.”

She stepped closer.

“If you have a way to handle this situation, tell me now,” she said sharply. “Otherwise I swear… I’ll teach her a lesson she’ll never forget.” ⚡

The threat hung heavy in the air.

Shayla studied Honeypot carefully. She had known her long enough to recognize when anger was turning into reckless action.

“Relax,” Shayla said calmly. “Destroying someone emotionally is easy… but destroying them strategically is far more effective.”

Honeypot tilted her head.

“Explain.”

Shayla leaned back against the counter, a calculating smile appearing on her lips.

“Right now, Imani believes this business deal is her biggest opportunity.”

“Yes,” Honeypot replied coldly.

“Then we don’t attack her directly,” Shayla continued. “We attack the deal.”

Honeypot’s expression slowly shifted from rage to curiosity.

“Go on.”

“If the partnership collapses,” Shayla said softly, “the distance between them will happen naturally.”

Honeypot’s eyes gleamed.

“And how exactly do you plan to collapse it?”

Shayla walked over to the table and picked up the phone, studying the message again.

“In business, trust is everything,” she said. “If Wayne starts doubting Imani… or if Imani begins to question Wayne… the entire deal will fall apart.”

Honeypot slowly smiled.

A dangerous smile. 😈

“So you’re suggesting we create… misunderstandings?”

“Not just misunderstandings,” Shayla replied. “Evidence.”

The word echoed through the room.

For a moment, Honeypot said nothing. Then she began laughing quietly.

“You really are brilliant,” she said.

Shayla shrugged.

“I prefer strategic.”

Honeypot walked toward the massive window overlooking the city lights.

Far away, somewhere in that city, Wayne and Imani were probably celebrating their partnership.

But the game had only just begun.

Honeypot’s reflection in the glass looked almost sinister as she spoke softly.

“Enjoy your partnership while it lasts, Imani.”

Her voice turned ice-cold.

“Because soon… you’ll watch it collapse in front of your eyes.” ❄️

Behind her, Shayla simply smiled.

The real question now was not whether Honeypot would stop the deal.

The real question was—

How far she was willing to go to destroy it. 💔
